Ex-Cazenove partner jailed for 21 months

LONDON – A former director at Cazenove (now JP Morgan Casenove) has been sent to prison for 21 months. Malcolm Calvert retired from the UK investment bank in 2000 but between 2003 and 2005 made £103,883 in insider-trading profits. He bought and sold around 420,000 shares in six different firms between 2003 and 2005, using inside information not available to the wider public.
