Whistleblowers need direct link to regulators, says survey
A poll on Risk.net says informants should be able to speak directly with supervisors
Almost half of survey participants, when asked the role whistleblowers should play in financial services firms, said they should be able to speak directly with regulators.
The Risk.net poll revealed 40% of people think staff lifting the lid on malpractice should have unobstructed access to regulatory authorities, rather than through their superiors within firms.
The results follow reports earlier
