Curbing your risk appetite


Greed is perhaps one of the first words that comes to mind when we reflect upon the fundamental causes of the recent collapse of the banking giants that sustained our economy. The financial crisis has brought to our attention several instances of unmitigated greed that led to the taking of risks that were well outside the realms of what could be considered legitimate risk-taking to deliver these banks’ business objectives.
