Risk USA: JP Morgan’s Zubrow says "Black Swan" op risks are biggest fear


"Black swan" operational risk events such as terrorist attacks, disruptions to payment platforms and outages to power grids are the biggest fear for JP Morgan Chase’s chief risk officer Barry Zubrow.

Zubrow, speaking at the Risk USA event in New York on Wednesday, said he was often asked which risks “kept him awake at night”, concluding that “black swan” type events – typified by the operational risks he gave as examples – were his biggest fear.
