NPR: under wraps, for now

Considering last month’s US regulator conference should have covered the notice of proposed rulemaking in some depth, any information on NPRs was noticeably scant. By Ellen Davis

US regulators found themselves in a tight spot at the conference they had organised in Boston in mid-May. The event had been created to discuss last year’s benchmarking exercise, quantitative impact study four (QIS4), the loss data collection exercise, and the notice of proposed rulemaking (NPR).
