Algo Opvantage unveiled

TORONTO - In late February, merging software firms Algorithmics and FitchRisk officially announced that they were going to be rebranding their products in the op risk field as 'Algo Opvantage'. At the corporate level, the firms' risk management software has been united under the Algorithmics brand.

The announcement comes after the firm, in an interview with Operational Risk magazine last month, disclosed that it would be continuing to support the Algorithmics op risk software product, but that its marketing plans going forward would focus on the legacy FitchRisk OpVantage products. Together, the two firms have more than 70 op risk clients around the world, according to a statement.
