Reuters launches IM tool
NEW YORK -- Reuters is taking on compliance issues as they relate to instant messaging (IM) with the formal launch of a program supported by FaceTime, IMlogic and Akonix.
The new Compliance Partner Program formalises and expands Reuters’ current relationships with these three vis-á-vis Reuters Messaging, the IM offering from Reuters, say Reuters officials. It will give customers further tools for meeting compliance requirements such as those mandated by Basel II and Sarbanes-Oxley.
