Detica buys MA Partners for £32m

LONDON - Detica, an IT and telecommunications consultancy, announced in mid-August that it is buying capital markets consultants MA Partners for £32.3 million ($61.2 million) in a move that Detica hopes will position it for the IT governance and compliance solutions space.

While Detica's client list is heavily weighted toward government, public service and defense institutions, the company has its eyes firmly set on the capital markets space, sources familiar with the situation told OpRisk &
