Plans for US Orsa gather pace

The US’s Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (Orsa) guidance was approved by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ (NAIC) sub-committee earlier this month amid general support from state insurance commissioners and insurance industry representatives alike.

The approval of the guidance marked a key step in the Orsa becoming part of the US insurance regulatory framework.
