
Almost 70% of insurers completed QIS 5

Almost 70% of insurers have completed the fifth quantitative impact study (QIS 5) process – double the number that took part in the previous iteration – according to the Committee of European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Supervisors (Ceiops).
Ceiops today (December 16) announced it had completed the first phase of QIS 5, intended to assess the practicability, implications and possible impact of specified approaches to insurers' capital setting under Solvency II.
