• Comments on the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision’s third consultative paper are due in on July 31. The committee is expected to issue a completed version of the Basel Accord revisions in the fourth quarter – probably December – in preparation for implementation on December 31, 2006.

• The Basel Committee is expected to produce guidance on consolidated know-your-customer risk management for banking groups, which will allow for consistency in identification and monitoring of customer
