Through changes such as mandatory registration of private fund managers, the global financial regulatory landscape has shifted, representing a significant change for the hedge fund industry in 2012. Throughout the careful deliberations by policy makers that preceded the enactment of the Dodd-Frank Act, MFA and its members supported a framework for unregistered private fund
