
Chilton to support comments on position limits

A position limits plan proposed by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in December looks set to move ahead to the public comment stage, after suffering a period of uncertainty late in 2010.
Last year, chairman Gary Gensler delayed a vote on the proposal due to lack of support. However, in a statement on the CFTC website on January 4, commissioner Bart Chilton said he would support publishing the position limit proposal for public comment.
