Five banks form Swiss Structured Products Association

Five Swiss-based banks have launched the Swiss Structured Products Association (SSPA), in an effort to increase understanding and acceptance of structured products.

The banks are ABN Amro, Credit Suisse, UBS, Vontobel and Zürcher Kantonalbank. Roger Studer, head of financial markets for Vontobel Investment Banking will serve as SSPA head and Luigi Vignola, head of trading, equity products at Zürcher Kantonalbank, will act as SSPA deputy chairman.
