FATF updates on future strategy and NCCTs

Paris -- The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), which held its annual meeting in Paris in early July, has published an annual report outlining its future strategy, as well as an interpretative note and an update to its non-co-operative countries list.

To begin with, the FATF removed Guatemala from its list of non-co-operative countries and territories (NCCTs). “The NCCT process has been very successful in encouraging countries to take necessary action to clean up their financial systems.
