Standard & Poors index tracks kings of the wild frontier
Standard & Poor's (S&P) has launched the S&P Select Frontier Index, an investable index covering so-called 'frontier' equity markets across central and eastern Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East.
The index comprises 30 of the largest, most liquid companies from countries with smaller economies or less developed capital markets than traditional emerging markets, and is designed to act as an underlying for index-linked products.
The index includes companies from Bulgaria, Cambodia
