Isda's man in China

As Isda's new Hong Kong-based head for Asia-Pacific, Keith Noyes has an intriguing task ahead of him. His initial contact with the region's regulators is already throwing up the kind of issues that will dictate the coming months. By Kathleen Kearney

Keith Noyes had held his new position as Asia-Pacific regional director for the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (Isda) less than six days before establishing his hectic travel schedule for the next six months. On top of trips to members and authorities in the organisation's key constituencies of north Asia, Australia and Singapore, Noyes is preparing for the coming explosion of activity out of China and India.
