Banks should enhance username security says MAS

SINGAPORE -- Banks should enhance their username and PIN security, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Singapore's central bank and financial services regulator, said in September.

In its updated technology risk management guidelines on internet banking. MAS also said banks should increase customer education on protecting their PIN and safeguarding the computers and devices they use to access online banking services.
