Lehman appoints heads of equity sales in Europe

Lehman Brothers has appointed David Bizer, head of European equity derivatives sales, to the newly appointed position of co-head of equity sales in Europe. He also retains his current position and responsibilities, said Lehman, and is joined by Mark Rutherford, head of European cash sales.

The two will take on additional responsibility for managing the European equity sales forces across all products and will report to John Phizackerley, global head of pan-European cash equities, and Benoit Savoret, head of trading and leverage products.

Lehman said the new structure will maximise cross-selling opportunities and enhance the equity team’s client focus.

“Bizer and Rutherford will co-manage the interface with clients, offering a more integrated and value-added approach,” said Lehman.
