Lehman appoints new heads of equity and debt capital markets

Lehman Brothers has appointed David Erickson as global head of equity capital markets and Christopher Winchenbaugh as global head of debt capital markets, both newly created positions.

Erickson and Winchenbaugh will both be based in New York and will report to Larry Wieseneck, head of global finance in the investment banking division. They will join Jason Tilroe, who assumed global responsibility for the risk solutions group in July, and Michael Konigsberg, global head of leveraged finance, as heads of the firm’s financing business.

Erickson was previously head of Lehman’s US equity capital markets business, responsible for leading all the bank's equity origination activities in the US. Winchenbaugh previously served as co-head of US debt capital markets, a position he had held since 2005.
