Lehman hires credit derivatives structurer in Tokyo

Lehman Brothers has hired Jimmy Kan as a senior vice-president to run its derivatives structuring group in Tokyo.

He will report jointly to Tetsuo Serizawa and Satu Parikh, managing director and senior vice-president respectively in the derivatives products group in Tokyo. Kan joins from Merrill Lynch, where he worked as a director in the credit derivatives group.

Meanwhile, Assan Din, a credit trader for Lehman Brothers in Tokyo, is relocating to London where he will run the bank’s credit trading business. Din will report to Tarun Jotwani, co-head of fixed income in Europe.
