Lehman appoints European equity derivatives head

Lehman Brothers has hired Neil McDonald to head up its European equity derivatives flow trading business. McDonald joins from Morgan Stanley where he worked for five years as a senior equity derivatives trader.

McDonald, who is based in London, will report to Gerry Donini, Lehman’s head of global volatility trading, based in New York. Prior to Morgan Stanley, McDonald worked at Goldman Sachs.

A spokeswoman for Lehman told RiskNews that McDonald was hired to build up the US investment bank's equity derivatives business in Europe.
