BlackRock appoints Pierre Sarrau as chief risk officer
Current CRO Edward Fishwick will be head of research at BlackRock’s RQA group
BlackRock has appointed Pierre Sarrau as its new chief risk officer, succeeding Edward Fishwick, who will move to a new role in January 2026, Risk.net understands.
Fishwick, who has been CRO of the asset manager since 2022, will become head of research within the risk and quantitative analysis (RQA) group. Currently based in New York, he will relocate to London.
