Adoboli trial explores complicity and culture at UBS
Testimony in rogue trading trial exposes slips in risk management
The trial of accused UBS rogue trader Kweku Adoboli continued in London's Southwark Crown Court in October, with Adoboli's defence counsel continuing to argue that his alleged misdeeds were part of a wider culture of aggressive risk-taking and poor record-keeping and risk management. Adoboli is charged with two offences of fraud and two of false accounting. He denies the charges.
