Correlation and kick-outs
Gilliat is offering investors three different kickouts, the most popular structure in the UK since December 2009. Returns depend upon whether a 90%, 95% or 100% kickout level is selected.
This is a five-year kick-out product linked to the FTSE 100 and the S&P 500 that offers investors the choice of three options with different kick-out levels and potential fixed returns. Whichever option is chosen, the product will mature and return the relevant fixed amount on the first (if any) of the anniversaries that both indexes are at or above the required kick-out level.
If option one is chosen, kick-out occurs if the indexes are at or above 100% of their initial level on any anniversary
