BGI adds in Asia
Barclays Global Investors (BGI) appointed three new members to its Asian business at the end of June. Nick Good was appointed head of iShares, Asia-Pacific, responsible for iShares in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan. Good was previously head of Strategy and Planning for iShares and BGI’s Institutional Index businesses globally, and joined BGI in early 2006 from the Boston Consulting Group.
Fred Horsey has joined BGI Asia ex-Japan as chief operating officer, based in Hong Kong, moving from JPMorgan Chase, where he was head of Asia Product Development, and before that Asia head of Legal for JPMorgan Asset Management.
Veronica Lam has joined BGI Asia ex-Japan in business development and client services for North Asia. Veronica was formerly at Fidelity Investments Management as a senior
