ONAM hires institutional head - structured products one of priorities

Old Mutual Asset Managers (UK) (OMAM) has hired Dermot Keegan as managing director of its institutional business.

Keegan joins from ABN Amro Investment Management, where he served as head of the UK’s head of institutional. He has also held senior positions at Henderson Global Investors and NatWest Investment Management.

“One third of our total assets are currently managed on behalf of institutional clients globally, with most of the new mandates won over recent years being into specialist high performance and absolute return products,” commented ONAM chief executive Peter Baxter.
