RMA and ORRF up European efforts

London – Operational risk trade associations are beginning to increase their efforts in Europe. The two major contenders for trade association membership are the London-based Operational Risk Research Forum (ORRF) and the US-based Risk Management Association (RMA).

ORRF received official ‘institute’ status from the UK government earlier this year, and says it plans to offer accreditation for op risk professionals in time.
