Groups launch op risk diploma qualifications
LONDON – Three organisations are launching operational risk and compliance diploma programmes, perhaps signalling the start of a surge in educational opportunities offering professional recognition in the op risk arena.
The Securities Institute announced at the beginning of September that it is rolling out the first ever high-level qualification in advanced operational risk, which it developed with Ernst & Young. The qualification is based on an exam derived from a set of case studies that the two organisations have assembled – those sitting the exam study the cases through the programme and then must explore two
