Launch of Indian Bullion Market Association

The Indian Bullion Market Association (IBMA), a national level body representing the Indian bullion trade and industry, was launched today in alliance with Mumbai-based National Spot Exchange (NSEL.)

The IBMA will promote the growth and development of bullion trade and industry by identifying and removing inefficiencies in Indian bullion market. IBMA will also approve local refineries and introduce spot delivery contracts on NSEL.
