Reuters Clarifies Dealing 2000-1 Procedures
REUTERS officials have confirmed that a foreign exchange trader lost a trade with a counterparty while using Reuters' Dealing 2000-1 conversation foreign exchange dealing system, after a message failed to transmit.
The failure led to a letter from Peter Jaco, marketing director for Reuters' transaction products, to Stuart Norris, chairman of the Forex Association of London.
Norris in turn alerted the Association Cambiste Internationale (ACI), the global association of foreign exchange and money
