Ares Management, the $360 billion private credit specialist, is talking with banking institutions about possible liquidity and capital partnerships to address operational challenges the banks face following the failure of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and others.

Michael Arougheti, co-founder and CEO of Ares Management, says alternative lenders will play a role in supplementing lending capacity for traditional banks in the aftermath of the crisis.
