Harvard Business School may be in the throes of writing up the International Securities Exchange (ISE) as a case study of a successful US-based online equity options exchange, but upstart Boston Options Exchange (Box) is not going to be ordering copies of the article when it is published. Although Box is also an online equity options exchange – with plans to launch trading in May or June – it is firmly establishing its own identity.
