CESR re-consults on inducements under Mifid

CESR issues draft recommendations on inducements under Mifid to help foster supervisory convergence and consistent implementation of Article 26 of the Mifid Level 2 Directive.

The Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR) is in the process of finalising recommendations for inducements under the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid) following on from its paper issued in December 2006 (CESR/06-687). Here, CESR explained it was considering issuing recommendations to its members, with the aim of fostering supervisory convergence and consistent implementation of Article 26 of the Mifid Level 2 Directive.
