Physical forwards stall as Italian power futures take off

Italian power futures launched on Borsa Italiana's IDEX platform on November 3, the same day as Gestore Mercato Elettrico (GME) launched a physical forward power exchange called MTE.

Borsa Italiana has reported a good start with more than one terawatt hours in contracts traded in the first three weeks.
