Macquarie first foreign bank to offer warrants in Korea

Macquarie Securities Korea, the Seoul branch of Macquarie Bank, listed its first four equity-linked warrants (ELWs) on July 11, becoming the first foreign issuer to issue warrants in Korea.

The contracts were a put and a call warrant on the Kospi 200 Index, Korea's main stock price index, plus call warrants on semiconductor producer Hynix and steel maker Posco.
