BNP Paribas benefits from public distribution on SeDeX

The combination of major new initiatives in Italy with the SeDeX segment of Borsa Italiana and a joint venture with BlackRock to sell iShares funds have helped BNP Paribas win recognition as the best in Italy this year

BNP Paribas (BNPP) has pressed forward with a number of major initiatives in the Italian market during 2014. The bank has established new public distribution channel on the SeDeX segment at Borsa Italiana, added the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) product line following the acquisition of its European structured products platform, and signed a joint venture with BlackRock to sell products based on baskets of iShares exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

These moves have further strengthened BNPP's market
