In the face of low interest rates and depressed volatility, Credit Suisse's structuring team found that investor demand for strategic solutions played into the bank's strengths in cross-asset strategy and technical problem solving.

Managers of alternative assets and investors threw an array of complex challenges at the Swiss bank over the past year, including demand for increased leverage, monetizing of future income streams and higher returns within restrictive risk return profiles.
