BBVA partnered with Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, which manages the Spanish benchmark Ibex 35, to create the methodology for a series of indexes targeting volatility that began being calculated in September. With that innovation added to the benchmark, BBVA has kept a leading position in the structured products market in the country, with its own network selling €1.4 billion in the year to date - an increase of 10% compared to last year.
