Iosco issues regulatory “toolkit” for retail structured products

Regulatory approaches towards structured products remain remarkably consistent across jurisdictions, a report published by a group of national securities regulators shows.

In a survey of 26 jurisdictions conducted by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (Iosco), all but two say they regulate what issuers may say in marketing material.
