Lookback: SPA fights back over consumer watchdog report



The UK Structured Products Association (SPA) has defended structured deposits following damning conclusions in a Which? magazine article titled ‘Not so simple savings'.

The article was based on historical simulations of how selected structured deposits performed, compared with fixed-rate deposits. It led to Which? concluding that consumers would be better off with the savings accounts.
