New Barclays structured product is one of few based on Eurostoxx 50

Flying in the face of fears about European equities, Barclays has issued a structured product in the UK that uses the Euro Stoxx 50 Index as its sole underlying.

Seeing opportunity amid the eurozone crisis, the bank has launched the six-year product in a market where the majority of products are based on the domestic benchmark index, the FTSE 100.
