Clemons to head iShares EMEA capital markets
Blackrock subsidiary iShares has created the role of head of EMEA capital markets in anticipation of growth in European exchange-traded products
Leland Clemons has been promoted to head the Europe, Middle East and Africa capital markets team at iShares in London. The new post has been created in anticipation of significant growth in assets under management and trading volumes in European exchange-traded products (ETPs), according to iShares. January saw $1.7 billion of inflows into European-listed equity ETPs, according to a Blackrock report.
Previously, Clemons was a director at Blackrock, most recently serving as head of US capital
