UBS appoints Rainer Ruecker as head of public distribution trading

Rainer Ruecker has joined UBS to lead the bank's new public distribution trading team.

Rainer Ruecker has joined UBS to run public distribution trading (PDT) for European underlyings. Based in Zurich, Ruecker will take responsibility for the newly created part of UBS's global equity derivatives, which will sit across all the bank's regional desks quoting equity derivatives products to exchanges and exchange-like venues. Rueker reports to Serge Deteindre, managing director and head of PDT.

Ruecker was formerly at Citi, where he was involved in the building of the US bank's European
