Asian investors love liquidity but drawn to risk, says BarCap survey

The availability of liquidity remains one of the most important features for wealth managers in Asia, according to Peter Hu, Singapore-based head of investor solutions for Asia ex-Japan at Barclays Capital, who was commenting on the bank's Asia Wealth Management survey. "Equity is the most commonly used asset class to hedge against inflation," adds Hu.
The survey, based on 129 participants from 104 firms across nine Asian countries with total wealth managed exceeding $5 trillion, indicates that
