HSBC survey: Hong Kong individuals most affluent in Asia

Hong Kong affluent individuals hold average liquid assets of $301,289, almost double Singapore’s at $183,145 and Taiwan’s at $155,162.

Hong Kong's wealthy individuals hold more liquid assets per head than other individuals in the region and almost double the amount of their counterparts in Singapore and Taiwan, according to the third HSBC Affluent Asian Tracker survey.
