ETF round-up
The global ETF industry had assets of nearly $1.1 trillion at the end of the first quarter of 2010, according to research from Blackrock. This amount comprised assets of 2,131 ETFs from 123 providers on 42 exchanges.
Amundi has continued its European expansion by listing six new short fixed-income exchange-traded funds on the Six Swiss Exchange. The ETFs offer investors daily inverse exposure to the Eurozone government bond market. Amundi has also listed equity and commodity ETFs on the exchange
