Barclays Wealth has advised investors to overweight equities as the US continues to dominate the equity market. “Equities have rallied a long way already and in six months we will say that the market will be noticeably higher rather than lower,” says Kevin Gardiner, head of investment strategy for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Barclays Wealth in London.
The US still leads the global equities market and Gardiner suggests that this year the S&P 500 index will see multiples of about 15 times
