US Wrap: Index funds a popular underlying

Index funds are proving to be a popular underlying for accelerated growth products in the US market, with several different funds making an appearance in the latest issuance.

Among the usual funds used for the products – such as the MSCI Brazil Index Fund and the MSCI EAFE Index Fund – are some new players. The Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund, which seeks to replicate the index of the same name, is used as an underlying for three Barclays accelerated growth products.
