Capital-at-risk products were the most popular in the UK market in January, with annual kickouts leading the way and fixed growth rising in popularity above potential income products.

The fixed growth structure has increased in popularity with providers over the past year. The products are all capital protected and include a digital payout. An example of a typical fixed growth product is the Protected FTSE Plan from UK provider Meteor, offering capital protection plus a return of 45% if the FTSE
